If you have answered yes to these questions, then my client might be exactly what you are looking for! A small, yet impactful Suffolk business are expanding and looking for someone passionate, driven & pro-active to join their business in the form of a Technical Sales Administrator.
This business is dedicated to the growth and development of their employees, with this role being a crucial position within the company, offering variety and diversity, with no two days being the same!
You will be a key part of an operation supporting new sales, delivering outstanding customer service as well as offering technical support where required on the products offered by the business. Full training will be provided to enable you to succeed in this position.
Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
•Receiving customer orders via email, telephone or webchat
•Creating order confirmations and updating the CRM system with relevant details
•Creating and distributing purchase orders and sales invoices
•Keeping clients updated on their orders
•Liaising regularly with suppliers regarding delivery status
•Identifying and qualifying new sales leads via telephone, email or webchat
•Logging all details onto CRM system
•Source appropriate products and/or solutions as well as obtaining prices from suppliers
•Create lead opportunities and produce quotes using Xero, sending through to prospects
•Follow up prospects with a view to converting to a sale
•Follow up on samples received by customers to convert to sales
•Receive calls from customers with technical issues
•Liaise with suppliers regarding issues
•Respond to clients within a timely manner with solutions
•Design, print & proof labels for customers using in-house system and software
•Assemble sample packs for customers and arrange delivery
•Update sales/profits figures
•Print & dispatch labels from the office to customers as required
•Draft letters and correspondence to customers and suppliers
•Oversee the procedures manual and keep up to date
Core Competencies Required:
•The ability to retain information is a must due to the nature of the products
•Being a natural problem solver is essential and would be a huge advantage in this role!
•A* knowledge/interests in IT and software systems will also excel your application to the top of the list!
•Tenacity is key when converting sales - results driven applicants encouraged!
•You will need to be able to work flexibly with ever changing work loads
•Must be open to working independently at times, due to the nature of a small team

•Salary Circa £25,000 (depending on experience)
•Hours - Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (Office based)

This position is commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Thetford, Newmarket, Mildenhall, Brandon and other areas surrounding Bury St Edmunds please note the business may relocate late 2021, so you will be required to commute then to Stowmarket.
