This forward-thinking Accountancy & Business Advisory firm has an excellent reputation for supporting SMEs and is seeking an individual to join them as a Client Manager.
As you would expect this firm acts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships with clients across multiple industries ensuring no two clients or days are ever the same!
As a Client Manager you will take responsibility for managing the full provision of varied, general practice services to your own portfolio of clients as you develop within this firm and role
As well as managing the provision of accounts, tax and general practice services to your clients, in both a hands on and review role you will look to develop added value relationships with your clients, carving a key role within the growth of the business.

To be successful in your application you will be AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent, with a career background in accountancy practice, at experienced Senior Accountant/Client Manager levels with client and portfolio management responsibility ideally. You will have a recent background working for an accountancy practice, in both a hands on and client facing capacity and be able to demonstrable an ability to support the business' fast growth ambitions.

You will be responsible for:
Managing Client Data Records through practice management software
Communicating effectively with all clients and deliver service expectations at all times
Ensuring full compliance - P11d returns/CIS/VAT reviews to ensure on correct scheme and being charged/claimed correctly
Assisting with VAT returns when required and checking junior members' work
Ad-hoc projects reviewing and implementing improved financial controls in to clients
Migrating new clients from current systems to Xero and managing the project
Preparing and advising on tax efficient decisions - Payroll/dividend split, trivial benefits
Preparing, reviewing and advising on statutory accounts and corporation and personal tax returns and affairs
Preparing and reviewing working papers
Strong IT skills are essential including good Excel skills and previous experience of Xero. You will be well-organised, a good team player and possess a problem -solving approach. You will be proactive with an ability to work with technology to benefit the client and business. Demonstrable experience of ad-hoc projects is ideal.
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
This role is commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Hadleigh, Ipswich, Diss, Thetford and all surrounding villages.
