We are working with an exciting beverage company who are currently looking to recruit a Packaging/Production Supervisor to join the team, initially for a three month contract with the hope this will become a permanent position.

The Packing Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day packaging process under the supervision and direction of the management staff. This includes leading and operating the various packing machinery whilst strictly adhering to quality and safety measures. The Packing Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and completing cleaning tasks and order preparation under the direction of management.

Primary responsibilities:

Leading the beverage packing process. Specific responsibilities include:

a)Completing set up and close down procedures to ensure smooth running of packing shifts.

b)Maintain progress on and communicating packing targets to the packing team.

c)Motivate and encourage packing team, troubleshoot and rectify low-level machinery issues and ensure the line is continuously supplied with the required component materials.

d)Ensure the packing team are following appropriate operating procedures and Safety control measures, and where necessary assist with the:

a.Operation of the labelling machine.

b.Operation of the bottle washing machine.

c.Operation of the bottle filling machine.

d.Operation of the bottle capping machine.

e.Preparing, filling and packing beverage cases.

3.Conduct and record all applicable quality checks, including:

a.Fill level check.

b.CO2 checks.

c.Cap torque checks.

d.General product checks.

4.Embracing a Safety First' culture within the brewery.

5.Raising potential hazards or quality risks as soon as they are observed, to management at the earliest opportunity.

6.Coordinate and conduct cleaning duties in accordance with the cleaning schedule as directed by management.

7.Coordinate and pick orders as directed by management.
