Compass Point Recruitment is excited to be working with a Suffolk based, family run agricultural business in their search for a Workshop Supervisor. This is a permanent, full time position, working 39 hours per week and a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a welcoming and diverse team and step into a role offering great future career prospects!

Previous experience working in a Warehouse environment, ideally with management or leadership experience is desirable for this role. You will be responsible for coordinating the engineers and drivers in the workshop and keeping stock of all the machine and workshop parts. This position offers a competitive salary, depending on experience.

Responsibilities & Duties:

•Organising and coordinating the engineers
•Coordinating the drivers whilst they are in the workshop
•Sourcing parts and liaising with reps to attain the best prices and quotes
•Keeping stock and monitoring Hydraulic fittings, hoses and pipes
•Checking parts against invoices/delivery notes
•Monitoring and keeping stock of workshop consumables such as oil, nuts and bolts in an organised way
•Working closely with the mangers to ensure the workshop runs smoothly
•Build good relationships whilst onsite, representing the company to a high standard
•Ensure health & safety is met at all times
•Other tasks as required to support an operational requirement

Work Experience & Skills:
•Good IT skills to include Excel and Emails
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Experience with agricultural equipment is desired
•Experience of working in a similar role
•Full UK Driving license is essential

This role is based locally to Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and is commutable from Thetford, Mildenhall, Brandon, Lakenheath, Attleborough, Diss and other surrounding villages. Please note you will need a full driving licence and your own transport due to the rural location of this positon.
