Job Title: Customer Service Co-ordinator
Location: Woolpit, Suffolk
Salary: £21,000

My client, a company in Woolpit, is looking for an experienced candidate, to support with Cusstomer Service and Customer Credit Control. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus skills and ideally suited to working well as a team member.

Job Description:

Area of accountability No.1: Customer Order Management
Main duties:

•Process customer orders promptly and accurately ensuring that delivery schedules are met
•Confirm despatch of delivery notes
•Maintain and update customer and item records
•Liaise with the supply chain specialist to coordinate pet food stocks and deliveries
•Maintain accurate and organised sales order records
•Proactively manage promotional claims, checking the validity of claims before processing
•Proactively liaise with third party distribution partners to coordinate deliveries, credits and customer returns
•Proactively and effectively communicate with customers to update them on orders, ensuring high levels of customer service
•Proactively communicate to on stocks and product supply

Area of accountability No.2: Credit Control
Main duties:

•Proactively manage customer accounts to ensure that invoices are paid on time, in conjunction with the finance team
•Co-ordinate a prompt and efficient response to invoice queries from customers
•Execute the overdue debt procedures if credit terms are breached


Area of accountability No.3: Administration Support
Main duties:
•Answer incoming telephone calls ensuring the calls are handled efficiently and professionally
•Respond to customer queries received by email
•Provide supply chain cover to the wider business in the absence of the supply chain specialist
•Provide administrative support to the business
•Other duties as required by the business


Area of accountability No.4: Business Support
Main duties:
•Provide support to the territory managers on customer accounts
•Act as a point of contact for customers in the absence of their territory manager
•Set-up and update accounts within a timely manner
•Co-ordinate the ordering website ensuring that it is up to date at all times
•Update the stockist locator on the website, ensuring that the correct permissions are obtained and filed


Relevant Experience Required:
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•PC literate to include a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and GSuite
•Self-motivated, reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
•Able to work to deadlines
•Excellent organisation skills
•Demonstrate customer focus
