Are you a Plant Maintenance Technician or General Engineer looking for a non-shift Autonomous role, with a view for a career for Life?

Due to upcoming retirement of a long standing Maintenance Engineer & revered member of the team, local established company is now looking to recruit.

You will be interested in manufacturing & be able to TIG weld and work with basic electrics, keeping the plant running smoothly enabling customers to receive their products to schedule.

The plant machinery you will be maintaining is custom made and bespoke to industry, so an interest of learning how to maintain/tinker/get a feel for different machinery must be second nature to you.

You will have your own workshop and equipped stores so you can manage and create maintenance schedules to suit, working autonomously you will be left to your own devices as long as the plant ticks over happily. You will not just be a number; you will be a pivotal relied upon member of the team.


•Educated within Engineering field to: HNC, HND, Degree or Apprenticeship level.
•At least 3 years Plant Maintenance or similar.
•Competent TIG Aluminium Welder.
•Understand basic electrics.
•Capable of managing and designing maintenance schedules.
•Ability to manage your own time effectively.


•Standard work week of Monday to Thursday (days, early starts) 37 hours a week, with a basic Salary of up to £27,000 per annum.
•Fridays when worked are paid at overtime rate of time & a half.
•33 days holiday per annum inclusive of bank holidays.

This position is easily commutable from: Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Newmarket, Thetford & surrounding areas
