Accounts Administrator/Bookkeeper
Bury St. Edmunds

This independent organisation based in Bury St Edmunds is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to strengthen their existing team.

Working within a property environment, this role will be managing client accounts based around property income and expenditure as well as being responsible for the in-house accounts.

You will be responsible for:

Monthly payroll
VAT Returns
Purchase and Sales Ledger duties
Monthly account reconciliation
Data Entry
Payment processing
Receipting rents and paying landlords
Monitoring tenant payments
Raising rent and service charge demands
Providing close support to property teams

To be successful in your application, you will have experience of the above duties along with previous Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll and Excel skills. Experience with a property management system would be ideal. You will be well organised, discreet, conscientious and capable of dealing with a wide range of matters relating to accounts and be willing to assist in a variety of property management support roles. There is scope for this role to grow.

Hours for this role are 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
