I am excited to be working alongside this organisation assisting them with their recruitment for a Payroller.
Based in Mildenhall, you will be responsible for the payroll function for the organisation for both weekly and monthly payroll.
Overall there are circa 120 staff across the payrolls and specifically you will be responsible for:
Preparation and submission of weekly payrolls and monthly salaries
Maintaining Car Opt-Out Scheme spreadsheets
Payment of deductions from payrolls for court orders etc.
Pension maintenance and submissions
Preparation of returns and payment of PAYE, NI & creation of pension submission
Preparation of month end reconciliations for PAYE/NIC/Pension/Other Deductions
Apprenticeship levy maintenance and submissions
Preparation of Year end Inland Revenue returns P35s & P60s etc.
P11Ds and payment of Class 1A NIC
Additionally you will be responsible for:
Weekly Factory reporting including ensuring the correct costing of weekly payroll to contracts and non-productive time
Weekly factory performance reports
Costing of office and agency staff time to contracts
Month End labour analysis reports
Maintenance of group cashbooks - bank reconciliations
Assist in the smooth transition to a new accounting system
Performing other duties within the Finance department as required
To be successful in your application, you will have previous experience of both monthly and weekly payroll. You will possess excellent communication skills with the ability to explain, investigate and resolve sometimes complex payroll queries to colleagues. You will have a good standard of Word and Excel.
Hours of work will be 9.00am to 5.30pm. Free parking on-site
This role will suit candidates currently working as Payrollers or Bookkeepers.
This role is commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Mildenhall, Brandon, Thetford, Newmarket and all surrounding villages.
