This is very much a sales and business development role, generating new business through prospecting and canvassing potential businesses and introducers. My client is looking for someone to be a driving force for the business, delivering a first-class Customer Sales proposition to potential customers and other business Partners. You will be required to achieve the various targets and budgets set by the business. This is a field-based role focused on income generating sales activities.
Key Performance Indicators
•Personal Performance - Ensuring monthly sales performance targets and other KPI's are achieved
•Achieving required volumes of business and income levels through regular and targeted prospecting calls/visits to potential customers
•Building relationships with existing and potential clients to maximise business opportunities
Key Activities & Responsibilities
•Primary focus is on all income generating activities. These include but are not limited to; prospecting calls & visits, existing customer calls and visits, networking, developing relationships with dealers/introducers and customer sign ups.
•Achieve and exceed all KPI's relating to case numbers,loan book volumes, brokered business volumes and income generation for the business. KPI's as advised by Directors.
•Identify, prospect, gain support & develop relationships with new introducers
•Identify, prospect, gain support & develop relationships with new direct clients
•Continue to develop existing relationships with introducers & direct client
•Accurately quote & price deals by pre-underwriting
•Provide all information required for the internal team to make a complete proposal to a lender, including realistic timescales. Complete proposal for larger or more complex proposals where required or appropriate
•Attend networking events as and when identified and required
•Suitably research prospective introducers & customers before prospecting
•Involvement with the Sales Director in the development of the company Sales Strategy
•Report and update the Sales support team on activity, pipeline and results
•Maintain appropriate communication channels with all people within the business
•Identify personal training needs and provide suitable solutions to meet these needs
•Develop own industry and lender knowledge including funders policies, procedures & products
•Endeavour to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded
•Suitably research prospective introducers & customers that would fit with the clients customer base
•Identify areas of improvement to ensure best efficiency, including working with other areas of the business to improve the customer experience and customer satisfaction
•Attend as required meetings within the business (Sales, Operations, Personal Review & Team)
•Comply with company policy and FCA rules/guidelines including compliancy tests & SAF tests
This role is competitively paid with OTE of £55,000 with uncapped commission paying a generous basic salary of £30,000. There will be opportunities for career progression into management roles for the right candidate.
