Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer that wants a Monday to Friday Job?

Great opportunity to work for a Local family run national food related company that is looking to hire a dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to become part of their maintenance team, maintaining plant production machinery. You will be working 8am-5pm Monday to Friday, plus callouts and overtime.

Ideally you will hold an apprenticeship/degree/HND in Engineering and hold food based production machinery maintenance experience. You will be part of a small close knit team made up of Engineers, Operatives and Management. You will be able to handle stressful situations, but also be able to engage in a bit of banter! Electrical knowledge would be a bonus but not essential.

You will:-

•Be an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
•Hold experience from within the Food Manufacturing Sector
•Will have served a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent) - HNC/HND/Degree
•Be hands on, resolving immediate problems ensuring continuity of production and limitation of waste or damaged product.
•Proactively identify and solve problems within production to increase reliability and efficiency.
•Carry out routine machine inspections, conduct relevant repairs or improvements and carry our preventative maintenance on equipment.
•Keep up-to-date with Best Practice.
•To document all breakdowns and repairs.
•Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including all Health and Safety issues.
•To communicate to Management indicating realistic timescales on major breakdowns to keep production informed of the progress of the breakdown.

For your hard work you will receive a competitive basic salary of £30,000-£35,000, pension and benefits package.
