Local organisation based in Great Blakenham are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Supporting the Financial Controller and working in a team of 3, you will be responsible for:
Supporting Sales Ledger and Credit Control, including managing receipts, posting and allocating cash and credits
Sending out statements and investigating and resolving queries
Credit checking for new and existing accounts
Working with colleague to chase aged debtors and keep debtor days down
Supporting Purchase Ledger
Analysing expenses and VAT for posting
Accruals and prepayments
Supporting month end process including reviewing cut-offs, basic analysis and month end procedures including support for accruals
Other duties as requested by the Financial Controller
To be successful in your application you will have experience of all the above duties. You may be studying towards or AAT Qualified or equivalent. You will have strong communication and customer service skills. You will be a team player, happy to get involved with whatever needs doing to meet deadlines and be a resilient character.
