I have an exciting opportunity to work for a Hi-tech SME manufacturing company, based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds.

This role is part of the Operations and Sales teams, reporting to the Operations manager, and involves product and customer support for the in-house manufactured laboratory equipment.

Main responsibilities:
•Receiving customer enquiries
•Receiving enquiries through distribution network
•Liaising with the sales and production teams to drive after sales support
•Quoting customers for accessories and service items
•Quoting distributors for the supported product range
•Engineer diary management
•Quoting Preventative contracts
•Flights and hotel bookings for engineers
•First line support and response
•Manage workload to achieve targets

Skills/Qualifications (minimum):
•Minimum 2 years' experience in an admin or support role
•NVQ Level 3 / National Diploma / 2x A levels
•Good logical troubleshooting techniques
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent attention to detail
•Willing to learn new tasks and systems
•Confident with Windows, Excel, Word.

•Previous technical support role or technical sales

Additional Information:
Salary: £23,000 to £25,000 p/a depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5:30 with 30 minutes for lunch
Based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Driving Licence and own transport required due to the location
