The main purpose of this recruitment is to establish this new role of Property Manager within the branch and oversee a portfolio of around 60 properties. The long term view for this position is to work towards building a team of Property Administrators to support with ever growing work load.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years previous property experience and ideally management experience too. It is desirable that you will be ARLA qualified or happy to work towards this qualification once in post.
•Daily liaison with tenants, landlords and contractors; dealing with questions, complaints and updates
•Appointment and monitoring of contractors
•Carrying out property inspections and writing reports of outcomes and letters to landlords and tenants
•Updating of the property management database
•Ensuring tenant / contractor / landlord compliance with statutory and contractual obligations
•Marketing to increase portfolio
•2-3 years or more Property Management experience
•Organised and thorough
•Excellent communications skills
•Proactive, able to work well individually and part of a team
•Good computer skills
•Ideally ARLA qualified
•Monday-Friday 9:00-17:00 This is negotiable for the right candidate/experience
