We are currently recruiting for a leading farming business who grow fresh produce and supply direct to major multiples, packers, wholesale and processing outlets. This role is based in Norfolk and will sit within the commercial team as a Sales Executive/Junior Account Manager for one of their largest product categories.

The role:
•To optimise the sale of all produce by achieving and implementing the best prices at the best times
•Develop and maintain positive and constructive customer and supplier relationships to deliver additional business opportunities and added value
•Liaising with customers to establish category requirements and providing prices and quotes
•Managing the delivery of the category orders, planning the logistical requirements,
•Verifying customer orders ensuring all documentation is correct, traceable and recorded eg passports
•Tracking incoming orders against plan and checking quality standard are met
•Rejecting any incoming order that does not meet the required company quality standard
•Managing stock control levels and controlling non-conforming products and make decisions regarding rework or dumping to ensure food safety, quality and legality is maintained.
•Compiling packout reports and creating spreadsheets for payment to growers
•Auditing QC systems
•Compliance with all procedures and practices in line with the Global Food Standard and business protocols.
•Utilise the business computer system to enter and retrieve information.
•Complete, maintain and review documentation and records as appropriate to your job role and in line with the Global Food Standard and due diligence.
•Provide the Directors with monthly sales and reports to demonstrate

The working hours are from 8am to 5pm with 2 x 15 minute breaks and 30 minutes for lunch, there is also a requirement to be available every other weekend on an on call basis in case of an emergency. In return they are offering a generous salary and a fun team environment.
