This is a vital position within the team to assist with the smooth running of daily operations. This role would suit someone with previous transport, scheduling or logistics coordination experience working within busy, fast paced environments.
•Processing paperwork e.g. booking in deliveries, dealing with couriers, printing delivery notes
•Speaking to both sites (customers) and drivers to ensure the vehicles are offloaded in a timely manner
•Chasing drivers for ETA's and making customers aware
•Liaising with other departments and depots
•Routing trucks daily deliveries
•Liaising with the sales teams in all four depots to ensure deliveries can be made
•Good organisational skills
•Good/confident telephone manner
•Computer skills and knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel
•Good communications skills, both oral and written
•Confident and polite
•Ability to work within a small team, under pressure and at speed
•Ability to follow instructions
•Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
•GSCE in Maths and English C or above (or equivalent)
Once established in the role of administrator the plan is to progress within the team and be actively involved in routing deliveries to go on the vehicles. This will be achieved by providing the relevant support and training in order to develop into this element of the role.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30-5:30
Salary: Circa £21,000 (Depending on experience)
Parking on site own transport required due to location
