I am currently supporting the recruitment for a large charity organisation in their search for an Administrator to join their busy team. The purpose of this role is to support senior management teams by providing effective administrative support.

This role will require you to demonstrate your previous experience working in busy open plan office environments, with a good understanding of excel and the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads.

The key roles for this administration position include but are not limited to:

•Organise own time, the diaries of others as directed (and coordinating meetings including organising venues and liaising with attendees and making travel arrangements)
•Dealing with incoming calls to Managers or departments and redirecting where appropriate
•Composing draft letters, presentations and reports for a range of circumstances as requested
•Taking minutes of meetings and preparing accurate notes, for example discipline or grievance hearings, area meetings
•Ensuring sufficient stationery supplies for smooth running of the office and liaising with purchasing to ensure requirements are met fully
•Ensuring the Health & Safety of the office environment and welfare of staff and visitors
•Liaise with central resources to ensure all office and staffs IT requirements are met
•Ensuring the office filing systems are stored, archived and destroyed in line with the Data Protection Act and contractual requirements
•To collate information and produce reports as requested by the AOM
•To ensure that all managers follow quality compliance processes, e.g. completion of monthly monitoring
•To ensure that all managers have the latest versions of all policies and procedures, and regional guidance
•Preparation of spreadsheet information for the generating of income or expenses data or invoices
•Liaising with Business Support Centre and managers in accordance with the recruitment and employee administration processes
•To submit all forms for Employee Services and Payroll processing, ensuring accuracy

To be successful in this position you will need:

•Advanced typing and computing skills in all Microsoft office packages
(Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
•Ability to compose draft letters and documents, in line with policy requirements, on others behalf
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Ability to work efficiently and calmly when under pressure
•Highly organised, good prioritising and time management skills
•Ability to think logically to determine own solutions to problems
•Ability to work and make decisions independently on a regular basis
•Take responsibility for your own development
•Experience of operating in an administrative support role
•Experience of working within a pressurised role

Additional Information:
Hours Monday to Friday 9am-5pm or 8:30am-4:30pm
Salary - £17,852
Location Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Pension Statutory Employer/Employee
Parking on site driving license required due to possibility of travelling to other sites
