Exciting opportunity via Compass Point Recruitment! We are currently working with a business based in Woolpit in their search for a Marketing Coordinator to support a very busy Marketing Manager, the team as a whole and the wider business. This role would suit someone with previous marketing experience or very strong administrative skills and a keen interest in marketing. Experience in marketing would be desirable however this company will consider recruiting a candidate with limited marketing knowledge but a zest for learning and a keen interest in developing a career in marketing!

Duties for the Marketing Coordinator to include:

•Assist in creating and updating marketing materials under the direction of the Product Managers
•Manage stocks of marketing literature and point of sale materials
•Obtain quotes from suppliers and place orders ensuring that company procurement processes are followed
•Prepare mailings and e-shots
•Assist the Product Managers and Marketing Director with the delivery of the marketing calendar and activities
•Co-ordinate the internal copy approval process
•Manage the company website ensuring that it is up to date and accurate
•Co-ordinate projects with internal stakeholders and third party suppliers/agencies
•Collate customer reports
•Co-ordinate the preparation of corporate tender documents
•Create and prepare marketing materials to customer specifications
•Work with customers to ensure products are appropriately represented on third party websites
•Co-ordinate attendance at customer events
•Co-ordinate internal and external company events (sales meetings, exhibitions etc.)
•Organise team travel and accommodation
•Provide general administrative support to the marketing team
•Handle incoming enquiries (telephone, website, email) in an efficient manner demonstrating high levels of customer care
•Help to manage marketing spend ensuring that all spend is accurately recorded and in line with company procurement processes
•Undertake general office duties such a photocopying, filing etc.

Related skills required:

•Excellent organisation skills
•PC literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher) and GSuite (desirable)
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Self-motivated, reliable and able to work with minimum supervision
•Ability to work to strict deadlines
•Ability to produce work with strong attention to detail
•Educational level or equivalent experience: A-levels or equivalent. GCSEs to include maths and English

Additional information:

•Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5pm and Friday 8:30am 4:30pm
•Salary: £21,000-£24,000 (depending on experience)
•Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays
