Are you a hands on Warehouse Manager looking for 30-40K, you like to get stuck into working in the yard and warehouse alongside your team, whilst managing them, then look no further!

I am recruiting for local company computable from; Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Colchester, Great Blakenham & Stowmarket. You will be strong willed and know how to get the best out of your team all be it through appraisals & disciplinaries. You need to be flexible, focused and commercially aware working with SLA's & WMS.

The work week is 45 hours Monday to Friday but some flexibility will be required

Day to day will consist of, but not limited to:-

•Warehouse health and safety compliance, hygiene and security enforcement
•Receive and give feedback to actively monitor the quality of services provided
•All regulatory requirements including food storage
•Coordinate and maintain the efficient receipt, storage & dispatch of goods
•Dispatch coordination with the Transport Department
•Stock control and processes, setup of warehouse layout ensuring efficient space utilization and productivity of through put
•Effective cost control through resource planning of trade peaks, holiday and absence management
•Use of Counterbalance Forklift and other general warehousing tools
•Customer service including SLA fulfillment, enquiries and quotations
•WMS and processes including invoicing
•The leadership, motivation and engagement of warehouse operatives and administrators to ensure productivity and progress
•Departmental HR including recruitment, training, appraisals and processes
•Break rosters, holiday and absence management
•Produce regular reports and statistics within set parameters to secure minimum KPI's and continuous improvement
