I am currently recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer for a client in Stowmarket, they supply into the Automotive Industry in a rapidly expanding market. The Technical Support Engineer will assist the Product & Technical Support Manager as first line support in providing quality customer service related to the function of the Help Desk.
•Provide superior service as first line support to all Help Desk customers and fellow employees
•Assist Help Desk customers with troubleshooting of support related issues
•Maintain accurate records of completed and pending jobs using in-house ticketing system
•Follow Company policies and procedures
Skills and experience
•Passionate about working in a fast moving, changing environment
•Dedication to providing great customer service
•Demonstrate a desire to learn about the products, installation and new technologies
•Demonstrate good social skills in a professional environment
•Must be a good telephone communicator
•Must have a desire to develop interpersonal and further technical skills
•Must be able to follow directions and work well within a team environment
•Must have good attention to detail and an analytical mind to work through process and resolve customer issues
•Must have at least basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
•Willing to travel on an occasional basis
The role is commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Diss and Hadleigh and experience in the automotive industry would be an advantage as would EV or Electrical sector.
