Local organisation based in Mildenhall are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team following a period of business growth.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
Processing incoming invoices
Coding invoices to the correct cost centre
Ensuring invoices are authorised for payment
Preparing payment runs
Raising and sending out invoices
Allocating cash upon receipt
Investigating and resolving queries
Producing credit notes and copy invoices
Other duties as required
To be successful in your application, you will ideally be an AAT studier or Qualified (or equivalent) with previous Purchase and Sales Ledger experience. You will have Sage experience and good Excel skills. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be ideal.
This role is commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Mildenhall, Thetford, Newmarket and all surrounding villages.
This role would suit someone working as a Purchase Ledger or Sales Ledger Clerk, Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant.
