The role is part of the operations team, reporting to the operations manager, and involves general administration and customer / supplier interaction. This business are a global leader in the design, manufacture and support of laboratory scale flow chemistry systems.
•Management of engineers travel arrangements - flights and hotels
•Sales order processing with Sage line 50
•Posting supplier invoices and reconciliation with Sage and MRP
•Purchase order creation and handling
•Preparing shipping documentation (for export)
•Answering the telephone and switchboard control
•Statistical data gathering and preparation of charts and graphs
•Obtaining freight quotes
•Customer service administration
•Meeting preparation and catering arrangements
•Document printing and checking
•Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative role
•NVQ Level 3 / National Diploma / 2x A levels
•Good logical troubleshooting techniques.
•Good verbal and written communication skills.
•Excellent attention to detail
•Willing to learn new tasks and systems
•Confident with Windows, Excel, Word.
•Experience using Sage line 50 or 200 and sage manufacturing.
•Experience of administration with a product manufacturer.
The Salary for the position is based on experience and will range from £19,000 to £21,000.
Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30am
Based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
25 days holiday plus UK bank holidays.
You must hold a full driving license.
