Internal Sales Engineer

I am pleased to be working with a Market Leading Manufacturing Supplier in the recruitment of an Internal Sales Engineer. The role is permanent and there is an opportunity for progression for the right candidate The role requires a dynamic individual to join them during a period of growth and expansion in a busy and fast paced department! Primary Responsibilities

To help generate new business opportunities linking an existing customer base, with a global distribution network.
To actively and consistently be a positive voice that promotes the company
To develop long term business relationships with existing and new customers through managing and interpreting their requirements and needs.
To persuade customers current and new, that our product range and service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, cost and delivery, learn the benefit of volume fixed long term call-off agreements and contracts.
To be part of contacting dormant and slow moving accounts, trying to generate new possible leads.
To liaise with Production Departments as required to determine, fix and if need be, reduce product processing lead-times.
To develop over time and as part of a critical sales function, knowledge of current and developing UK and global competition, i.e. new technology, specifications, sampling, price and product lead-time.
Assist with order entry and system processing.
Proactively take incoming calls in the sales department with confidence, learning from the technical, commercial and time critical pressures that come through as part of your own personal development plan.

Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Tools, Excel.
Communication skills both verbal and written

• Based in Bury St Edmunds
• Full Driving License required due to location
• Salary - £20,00 - £25,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am 5:00pm
• Parking on site.
