Local organisation based in Mildenhall are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis working 16 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 1pm - 5pm.
Reporting into the Company Management Accountant, you will be working in a lovely, friendly team of 4, to support the accountancy function.
You will be responsible for:
Maintaining Balance Sheet Reconciliation Spreadsheets
Maintaining Hire & Lease Contract records
Maintaining Fixed Asset Register
Maintaining Accruals and Prepayments spreadsheet
Setting up monthly journals and posting of monthly journals
Assisting with Cash Flow forecast
Assisting with Financial audits
Preparing accurate and timely quarterly VAT Returns online for HMRC
Setting up Bank Payments for one off suppliers, BAC payments and adhoc payments
Holiday cover for Purchase Ledger Controller
To be successful in your application, you will have experience of the above finance duties to include strong Excel skills. You will have a strong eye for detail, fantastic communication and organisational skills and be a team player.
This role is commutable from Mildenhall, Thetford, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and all surrounding villages.
