I am excited to be recruiting for a leading Specialist Equipment Distributer throughout the UK, based on the outskirts of Ipswich. They are in the market for a Sales Order Administrator to join their small team, supporting with order processing, updating company database systems and communicating with third parties.

This business has been established for over 40 years and following a restructure, this need has arisen to welcome a new member to the team, with solid Customer Service experience, a positive attitude and the ability to retain information on multiple clients!

Your duties for the role will include:

•To work within the Sales Order Entry office supporting two divisions with general administration and organisation of equipment deliveries
•Process incoming enquires via telephone, email and website enquiries onto the company's database system establishing full, accurate details of their business prior to inputting onto the database system
•To manage ongoing consumable sales of items for customers that have purchased equipment for items including replacement products
•To process orders from successful sales approaches for the above consumable items to delivery to the end user
•To communicate directly with third party hauliers to arrange and confirm equipment deliveries
•To assist with internal communications to organise equipment preparation prior to delivery and with the Service Support Centre to organise installations and training for end users receiving their equipment
•To assist and support senior management team as required
•To understand all administrative procedures relating to order forms, extended warranty, leasing documentation and their completion
•To ensure that all records and administrative returns are up to date at all times
•To obtain the maximum volume of business from each customer, ensuring wherever possible Concept Sales' are made
•Ensure that the company vehicle and demonstration equipment are in first class condition

The attributes required for this role are as follows:

•Positive attitude with a resilient outlook, to deal with busy periods and a self-motivated nature
•Ability to learn on the job' and not be afraid to ask questions
•A Starter Finisher' able to see a task through to completion maintaining an organised process throughout
•Friendly and personable with good communication skills and the ability to liaise with all manner of clients, customers and colleagues where necessary

Additional Information:
•Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-5:00 (30 minutes for lunch)
•Salary: £17,500-£19,000 (Depending on experience)
•Location: Outskirts of Ipswich
•Annual Leave: 24 Days + Bank Holidays
•Free parking on site you will ideally need to car for this position due to location
