Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Bury St. Edmunds (Outskirts)
Salary: £30,000 + Depending on Experience and Qualifications


Our client based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds are looking for Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a small but expanding dedicated team within a family business.

They are looking for someone that comes from a ideally a manufacturing background with knowledge of working with production machinery and is a qualified electrician. The process is automated so you will be able to work on the machinery, full training will be given but experience in this will be required .As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of the process plant, responding to breakdowns, as well as assisting in installation and plant modification activities. You will be working on an array of equipment so experience of electrical systems, production machinery and associated equipment.

In order to be considered for this position you will need to have proven experience in a similar position, along with relevant electrical and / or mechanical qualifications, 17th Edition is essential. The ideal candidate with have a background in productiont maintenance within a manufacturing environment, such as food, beverage or pharmaceutical.

Approved electrician grading (electrician grade may be considered)
17th Edition
C&G 2391 Qualified (or current equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
Good communication, both verbal and written
Ability to work under own initiative, as well as within teams
Enthusiastic and knowledgeable
Experienced in undertaking periodic inspection, test and reporting
Be able to demonstrate leadership approach to health, safety and environmental obligations
Job Type: Full-time daytime hours with a call out arrangement in place as they are a 24 hour organisation
