I am currently working with a leading manufacture and supply company based in Haverhill, who is on the lookout for an ambitious and energetic Account Manager to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and thrive from working in a fast paced environment. This is a relaxed and friendly business culture who relish in their staff feeling valued and part of a team!
Responsibilities will include:
Having overall responsibility for assigned customer accounts
Maximise spend, profitability and growth of assigned accounts
Respond to enquiries and provide quotations for bespoke products
Liaising effectively with the design, purchasing and administration teams
Dealing with supply chain throughout Europe and Asia, securing best possible prices
Calculating all additional costs for shipping, duty and taxes
Overall responsibility to ensure customer orders are produced correctly and delivered to meet deadlines
Visiting customer accounts across the UK to present new product ranges
Maintain exceptional service levels across all client communications
To be successful in your application you must have a proven track record in sales, preferably within a manufacturing environment, and be comfortable working to deadlines and targets. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with meticulous attention to detail. You will show good commercial understanding and be able to adapt your selling technique to meet customer needs. Experience of dealing with offshore suppliers is an advantage.
Competitive basic salary + performance based commission structure OTE £35k in first year
Hours: Monday Friday 9am 5pm
20 days holidays + Bank Holidays, rising after 2 years' service
Access to company car if required, paid mileage if using own car
