This company, based in Thetford, are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting time of growth for the organisation and an excellent time to join to assist shape the future of the business and the role!
You will be responsible for:
Generating management accounts
Updating sales forecast and budget information
Processing customer orders
Understanding and input into customer EDI systems
In addition to the finance duties, you will be responsible for:
Setting up contracts
Managing all Import/Export requirements
Arranging container deliveries/collections
Processing the necessary shipment documentation, including bills of lading and Commercial invoices
Generating purchase orders on third party suppliers
Organising any IT equipment systems etc
Purchase of office equipment and stationary
Assisting in website design and inputs
Managing employee contracts
Managing holiday (and sick) entitlements
Arranging travel, visas, hotels etc as required
Organising any events, exhibitions etc as required
Arranging parcel collection / deliveries
To be successful in your application, you will have previous finance experience to include all the above finance duties. You will have strong Excel experience and Sage experience would be beneficial. You will be flexible and adaptable with good communication skills, well organised, have strong attention to detail and be able to multitask. You will be proactive, self-sufficient and keen to join a team where you can really make a difference!
This role would be suitable for candidates currently working as Accounts Assistants, Bookkeepers, Assistant Accountants or Assistant Management Accountants.
This role is commutable from Thetford, Newmarket, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds and all surrounding villages.
