The role is managing a number of research and development projects to cover both new products and updating existing designs. Providing technical support for products and processes to both internal and external customers. Working with the team to ensure objectives are met within time frames set and budgets
You will be:
Identifying new product potential
Assessing design, including quality assurance requirements accordingly
Costing detail to suit new products
Project managing from initial design to product launch
Improving product quality through equipment improvements
You will need:
To have previously worked within design and projects within Oil and Gas, Petro-chemical or Pharmaceutical.
Research and development experience
An education in either mechanical or electrical engineer
Knowledge of hazardous area product design would be advantageous
The ability to read and produce engineering manufacturing drawings in 3D packages
In return you will receive a competitive basic salary of £28,000 - £32,000 and up to 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, pension, healthcare options available and free parking.
