Local client based on the outskirts of Stowmarket is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their accounts team.
You will be responsible for:
Processing and entering sales orders on Sage Line 200
Ensuring customers credit limits are not exceeded or accounts overdue
Raising and issuing invoices to customers
Chasing outstanding debt
Sending out copy invoices and statements if requested
Entering Purchase Ledger invoices and ensuring authorisation for payment
Dealing with some quotations
To be successful in your application you must have previous Purchase and Sales Ledger experience and ideally be immediately available for work. You will also have previous experience using Sage.
This role will suit candidates currently working as Purchase Ledger Clerks, Sales Ledger Clerks, Credit Controllers, Accounts Assistants or Bookkeepers.
This role is commutable from Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Needham Market, Claydon, Great Blakenham and all surrounding villages.
This role will be working a 40 hour week starting at 8/8.30am.
