I am currently working with a prestige client, looking to recruit an Events and Communications Officer to join their Foundation team. This is an ideal role for a Graduate with at least 3 years relevant work experience in marketing, communications and events management.
You will be responsible for:
Planning and organising all aspects of our events including;
- Venue, facility and catering bookings
- Operational logistics
- Creating and monitoring the event budget
- Providing on the day support, which will include some evening and weekend work
Plan and implement the annual communications program, including;
- Producing monthly newsletters
- Updating and developing the Foundation website and social media pages
- Assisting with alumni correspondence and stewardship
- Regular postal mailings and the annual alumni magazine
To be successful in your application you will:
- Be immaculately presented and highly personable
- Have at least 3 years experience in marketing, communications, events, alumni relations and/or fundraising
- Be IT literate with high competency in MS Office
- Possess strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail
- Be a confident communicator who enjoys meeting new people, hosting events and networking
- An eye for good design and creative flair
- Numerate and able to create simple event profit/loss spreadsheets
