Job Description:Job Title: Customer Service/Sales Administrator
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Hours: 9am 6pm (1 hour for lunch)
Start Date: ASAP
My client is looking for an enthusiastic assistant to join their friendly team. Their aim is for all their customers to have good experience with them and to make them their first choice for future purchases and recommendations. You will be one of the main points of contact for customers and they are looking for a new team member to continue to provide an exceptional level of customer service.
A key element of the role will be talking with customers on the phone, thus a professional telephone manner is very important as is the ability to listen to the customers. These two skills are crucial to providing a great service and something they pride themselves on.
Full training on the products they supply will be provided to give you the confidence to talk to their customers.
•Responding to telephone sales enquiries and advising customers of suitable products for their application, product lead time and spares support
•Processing orders and quotations, returns and refunds
•Replying to general customer enquiries through the online enquiry system such as order amendments/cancellations
•Follow up of online orders flagged as pending payment
•Online abandoned carts' progressing for closure of sale
•Warranty order processing, dealing with suppliers if required on behalf of our customers
•Updating customers as required and other members of the sales team with regards to order re-dates, shortages or quality issues in a timely manner
•Customer complaints, resolution and tracking of these as and when they occur
•Working to identify further sales opportunities amongst existing customers by up-selling and cross selling
•Contributing towards the departmental targets, company objectives and KPI's
•Previous Order Processing/Sales Administration Experience - Essential
•Sage Knowledge - Desirable
•Customer service experience in a busy office would be advantageous
•Strong IT Skills and working with CRM systems
•Good communication skills with a proactive customer focus
•Time management of workload with efficiency and accuracy
