Sales Team Leader

Are you interested in a Sales Team Leader position based near Ipswich, Suffolk?
My client an established and exciting player in the travel and tourism industry is looking for a Sales Team Leader who is motivated, enthusiastic an has a genuine passion for both sales, customer service AND of course travel to join their sales team near Ipswich, Suffolk!
You must have had at least 2 years in a leadership position within a sales department with experience of managing a team. This is an amazing sales opportunity for a friendly, enthusiastic and eager sales person.
Daily duties will include:
• Manage, motivate, mentor and monitor team in order to achieve excellent customer service
• Monitor and review performance (figures/ calls) and take appropriate action to ensure consistent performance
• Set sales targets for the sales team
• Develop and report direct sales performance to the Sales & Marketing Manager
• Calculate and report monthly incentives earned by team and work to create campaigns to encourage higher numbers of bookings and maintain passion for results
• Achieve or exceed monthly targets
• Develop opportunities to maximise revenue on sales by up selling
• Building direct sales channels and strategy
• Managing direct sales operations including systems and procedures
• Ensure that the sales team are trained in all products
• Improve customer satisfaction levels
• Deal with customer complaints and solve problems which may occur
• Effectively manage time for the Sales team
YOU will ideally have working experience in the travel industry with experience of having been to at least one of the following continents - Asia, Africa, Middle East or Latin America.
You will have solid computer, internet and keyboard skills and knowledge of flight reservation systems. To apply you must hold appropriate citizenship or documents permitting you to reside and work in the UK.

In return the company will offer a generous basic salary plus monthly bonus / commission – earnings uncapped. You will also received substantial discounts on overseas trips for yourself, family and friends and access to industry discounts including reduced airfares. There will also be some weekend work and overseas travel will be necessary at times.
