Are you looking for a Business Development Manager’s job in Ipswich?
My client, a leading, well known and highly regarded company in Ipswich, Suffolk have a vacancy in their sales team for a highly motivated and driven seasoned sales professional with a history of buying and selling digital advertising space.
You will generate leads and manage email programmes targeting prospective clients. You will work as part of a wider new business team. You should be confident enough to talk to senior clients and be able to talk knowledgeably about the company’s services – particularly web design and build, social media, viral, mobile, search engine marketing and display advertising.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Generate leads through cold calling
• Follow up on warm leads
• Qualify opportunities
• Nurture prospects
• Schedule appointments or conference calls
• Identify work being undertaken
• Maximise and leverage opportunities through structured marketing programmes
• Work with Directors to generate marketing materials for the agency and to ensure client needs are met with the appropriate group resource
You will be a confident, outgoing self-starter who is eager to expand knowledge of digital marketing. You will be highly persuasive and be good at overcoming objections. You will enjoy cold calling and be able to hold conversations. Preferably you will have salesforce database experience and be motivated and target driven whilst being able to meet deadlines.
Whilst you will primarily be based in the Ipswich office you will also be required to visit clients and suppliers so therefore must have your own transport and hold a full UK driving licence.
