PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER
THETFORD, NORFOLK
Are you interested in a Product Marketing Manger/ Category Development Manager’s job in Thetford, Norfolk.
Our client is a well-established company who develop a wide range of products and are now looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join their team in a position in Norfolk.
Could you steer the development of own line products through composition and pack development to sales analysis and also develop current brand lines and motivate members of all the teams involved to meet deadlines on time and on budget?
This is a hands-on role, liaising between project managers, R&D technicians, packaging developers and the sales teams you will need the interpersonal skills to liase successfully to ensure products are ready to hit the shelves when promised.
This is an exciting role that would suit a candidate who has experience in a FMCG category development role with strong experience in the FMCG product development arena.
You will be responsible for:
· Driving, developing and implementing the overall category strategy
· Bottom line accountability across both branded and own label products
· Implementation of marketing plans through all elements of the marketing mix
· Market analysis and research, pricing and product specification
· Building strong relationships at all levels within product development
· Budget management
· Ability to deal with large range of products (2,500 - 5,000 of both Brand & Own Label)
· Management of all promotional issues
You will need to have had experience in a category development management role or consumer facing marketing role within the FMCG industry and be used to managing multiple marketing projects.
You need to be able to organise your own workload and therefore have strong planning and prioritisation abilities and have excellent communication skills at all levels.
