Trainee Sales Executive

My client, a manufacturing company based near Stowmarket is looking to recruit a Trainee Sales Executive to assist in the growth and development of their sales. The role will be to provide both internal and external support for the sales team representing major European manufacturers all of whom are renowned for their expertise throughout the World.
Key Responsibilities will include:
· Daily telephone prospecting cold and warm leads
· Assisting the sales team with managing vacant sales territory
· Provide sales and marketing support for the sales team
· Setting up and over seeing customer trials, both at the company and on site, to include delivery, installation and customer training
· Assisting with qualifying the company database
· Sending introduction letters and literature packs
· Writing and sending targeted area mail shots (letters, faxes and e-mails), including telephone follow ups
· Demonstrations of product range to customers when sales executives are out of the office
· Producing and sending product samples to customers
· Learning about equipment range and suppliers
· Responsible for ensuring that the demonstration area is kept clean, tidy and ready for use
· Assistance for the service/spares department as and when required
· Assistance for the sales admin department as and when required
· Quotations/cost sheets
· Web site updates
You must be computer literate and be able to hit the ground running. With a keen interest in building a career you will follow a clearly defined and structured training plan, combining office and field based activities. The training experience gained will ultimately lead to you to become a Sales Executive. You must be able to work well within in a team and use your own initiative. Due to the fact this role will develop to a field sales position you must be a driver with your own vehicle to apply for this position.
