Experienced Yardman required for Manufacturing company in Stowmarket
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for safe yard operations, including vehicle entry/movement and banksman duties.
- Ensuring hazardous waste compound and content are correctly labelled and stored.
- Assist in COSHH assessments
- Work closely with security personnel in the management of delivery vehicles.
- Preparing the yard for expected deliveries.
- Receiving and processing purchase order paperwork applicable to deliveries.
- Spreadsheets/paperwork relating to shipments
- Loading / unloading of deliveries
Skills:
- Ability to communicate in respect of job assignments, procedures and safety standards.
- 6 months experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Valid Forklift Truck license.
- Experience with material handling equipment.
- Ability to understand spreadsheets.
- Microsoft Office computer experience.
- This role is full time and temporary for approx. 3 months
