Our client, an award-winning consumer goods manufacturer, is recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Assistant to join their small team, providing innovative and intuitive marketing support, working at their scenic site outside Stowmarket.
This role offers significant opportunity for career progression, and could lead to a more senior role as Marketing Executive for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Management and reporting of marketing budget
· Marketing and sales data analysis
· Commercial team process development and management
· Management of all point-of-sale development, stockholding and despatch
· Management of all product installs equipment stockholding and despatch; register of cellar service providers
· Reconciliation of marketing and installation budgets
· Development and maintenance of commercial “fact file”
· Development and upkeep of corporate website
· Management of sample despatches
· Management of direct sales (ex web)
· Operational management of all festivals and events
· Development and upkeep of all sales and marketing literature
· Management of all external information
· Input into Consumer PR as appropriate or as directed
· Responsibility for ensuring products are entered into appropriate awards competitions
· Liaison with external agencies as appropriate or as directed
You will have previous experience in a sales and marketing role, ideally in the FMCG sector, although all relevant candidates from a sales and marketing background will be considered. You will be numerate, analytical, process–orientated and PC literate, and will be able to demonstrate your competency in organisation and planning. You will be able to work on your own initiative, providing creative and innovative input to the team. You will enjoy working as part of a team and will possess the ability to lead others. You will be keen to learn and will possess an inquisitive and outgoing personality. Due to the progressive and growing nature of this company, you will take a flexible approach, working to a moving job description.
