SMALLHOLDER NUTRITIONIST

Are you interested in an exciting job opportunity as a Smallholder Nutritionist near Dereham, Norfolk?
My clients are looking for a Smallholder Nutritionist to provide comprehensive nutritional advice to smallholder customers. This role offers the ideal opportunity to develop a career within customer service in this unique industry, with potential for growth within the company.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Answering telephone and email enquiries pertaining to animal nutrition queries; especially those relating to poultry, pigs, sheep, goats, cattle, rabbits and horses
· Providing advice support to Area Sales Managers
· Writing articles for the newsletter and external articles, relevant to smallholder nutrition
· Attending smallholder shows
· General departmental administration
You will possess a BSc or HND, or will have extensive recognised experience, in a relevant subject, namely, agriculture with animal science, animal science, or animal management.
You will have experience working with smallholders, and, preferably, some agricultural or equestrian knowledge. You will possess excellent organisational skills with the ability to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail. Your customer service and ‘people skills’ will be exemplary, as will your skills in written communication. You will take a flexible approach to the role, and will be willing to learn.
In return, you will receive a generous salary with bonus entitlements (at the company’s discretion). Training and other benefits, life insurance (paid at twice annual salary), and 20 days holiday, which increases with service, will be included.
